  I found Amy Roth very pricey and her quality of work was very low. (see photos) She said she had credentials as a master couture. I needed her to take in two front darts on a prom dress. I was shocked when we picked the dress up as the work looked like it had been done by a young child. The seams on the front darts were very crooked , the seams were puckered and the stitches uneven. Also the fitted seam line on the left front dart was a different shape than the right front dart Most troubling she seemed to be fine with the quality until I pressed her to fix it. Twice she tried and then said she couldn't fix it any further because it was chiffon. She charged me $35 for this- even though I had to take it to another seamstress Also the $35 price did not include pressing - she had wanted to charge me an additional $20 to press the short length dress ( I have never paid separately elsewhere) photos taken after twice she tried to clean it up.
