  A sign that stated buy one get one half off with fine print stating on select hats was posted above the hats we were purchasing. When my husband went up to pay, both rang up full price. The cashier stated, I thought those were on sale, after trying to see why it wasn’t ringing up, than stated it was a different style hat on sale. When I came over to ask about the sign and why they have a sign over the hats that weren’t on sale. The one cashier told me that the hats we bought were not on sale, when I mentioned about the sign. He said he couldn’t do anything because it is not on sale. The other cashier was trying so hard to please the customer and provide excellent customer service. The first cashier called manager and put me on the phone with the manager. He asked me what the sign said, after reading the sign. He said it states select hats and to see a store associate for details and you did not see a store associate for which hats was on sale. Most normal people put signs for sale items over the items and if sign is over an item not on sale, gives the sale price and than fix their signing. The hats that were on sale were $25.00 the hat we bought was $30.00 so for $2.50 extra rather than $12.50 for the second hat that was on sale compared to the $15.00 for the second hat that wasn’t on sale. The manager argued with a customer and did not care about me writing my review about his store, all for $2.50. Do not purchase any hats from Lids in Tower City, in Cleveland Ohio.
